My client is a large built environment contractor who are looking for a Sub-Contract Administrator to join a busy expanding team, this is a full time role working an average of 37.5hrs a week with a salary circa £22/£22.5k a year.
To be considered for this role you must have knowledge of HMRC Guide Lines - VAT & TAX
Calling draft certificate reports for weekly payment runs
Checking the payments and placing on hold any payments that do not agree
E-mailing QS with any issues to resolve before payments can be processed
Finalising the payment selected report and distributing to the relevant managers to approve
Completing the payment run by processing the cheques and Bacs
Dealing with County Court Claims and urgent Chaps payments
Collating the remittances and payment certificates to be issued to the subcontractors
Dealing with queries from subcontractors and QS and resolving issues they might have either on email or by phone
Assist Month end CIS tax - checking the reports and figures agree
CIS verification with the Inland Revenue either by telephone or on Coins
Sorting out issues relating to CIS when they arise from the Inland Revenue.
Dealing with post and distributing to various sites and offices.
