Job description

I am looking for a Scheduler to join a leading supplier of services to the MoD. You will schedule, task and monitor area teams involved in the repair and maintenance of DIO’s assets, to enable them to ensure they complete work on time and, to exacting standards

  • Prioritise work in line with the Employer need and service standards
  • Schedule, task and monitor Service Delivery Teams involved in the repair and maintenance of the accommodation assets, to ensure they complete work on time, to exacting standards and they deliver the highest levels of customer care at all times
  • Utilise WorkManager to schedule work and issue work instructions to Service Delivery Teams and ensure:
  • they have the necessary information to complete the repair 
  • the appointment times are viable
  • suitable resources are allocated to each task 
  • In cases of excessive/unexpected demand, liaise with the Area Manager in determining repair priorities and task the Service Delivery Team accordingly
  • To ensure tasking of work is scheduled to appropriate trade, in order to ensure compliance with the skills of the individual and Health & Safety legislation
  • Develop and maintain an excellent working relationship with the Employer personnel involved directly or indirectly with the contract
  • Provide the link between the Help Desk and the Area teams
  • Comply with the Organisation's Equality and Diversity Policy
  • Provide regular analysis and interpretation of scheduling performance and ensure any learning is shared

Personal Specification

  • Significant experience in planning and scheduling both work and operatives in a high volume property maintenance related field
  • Knowledge and experience of working within strict ISO 9000 policies and processes
  • Good communication and leadership skills
  • Ability and willingness to travel Qualified to NVQ Level 2 standard or equivalent experiential experience.
  • Experience in customer care or related subject
