Job description

Senior Quantity Surveyor required for a new team being created for an exciting new project with one of the countries leading contractors.

Are you a Senior Quantity Surveyor within the small works and facilities field looking for an opportunity to get involved with a new project team at its inception?

With a 4 year contract to commence in the next few months my client are looking to engage a Senior Quantity Surveyor to play a pivotal role in the successful delivery of the commercial aspects of this key project.

You'll be working in partnership with the Department of Education to ensure the successful delivery of additional Free Schools through the LocatED project.

You'll provide full commercial support on a range of small works and facilities projects enabling newly acquired sites to be prepared for development as Free Schools.

To be considered for this role you will be Degree qualified in a construction related discipline or have the equivalent level of experience. Familiarity with CEMAR, CAFM and COINS would be a distinct advantage.

You will play a key role in the success of this project, advising and interacting with the client throughout this busy programme of works. It's therefore key that you have excellent stakeholder management and organisational skills.
