Application Support Analyst
About the role
We are looking for an Application Support Specialist to join our clients site at RAF Brize Norton. Working as part of our IT applications team you’ll be providing support to a variety of different business applications in the aerospace industry. You will be working closely with customers, suppliers and hosting partners to ensure applications are managed, maintained and fully optimised.
And as you’re supporting our business we’ll be supporting you. Training will be offered to ensure you can fulfil your role effectively, and you will not be put on the on call rota until you have been in the role for 6 months and fully up to speed.
Key duties will also involve problem analysis, maintaining accurate records, completing system set ups, suggesting technical improvements and configuration changes.
What do I need to do the role?
You will need to have a background in application/desktop support, as well as exposure to Active Directory and some basic programming experience. SQL skills are desirable however not essential as this can be taught.
What else do I need to know about the role?
- You will work a 40 hour week Monday-Friday 8:30-5:30
- You will be on an on call rota 1 in every 6 weeks after your probation period
- All applicants must have or be able to obtain SC security clearance
