Job description

Looking for a new opportunity in construction?

Are you a Design Manager with experience working with tier one contractors on multi million pound construction projects?

How do you like the idea of working on one of Bristol's flagship schemes in the city centre?

I'm working in partnership with a top 5 main contractor to find an experienced Design Manager to join their team in Bristol working on multi million pound projects covering mixed use, education, commercial, healthcare and defense.

With ambitious growth plans and an already full order book this is an excellent opportunity to join a dynamic business with a strong pipeline of work within an hour of Bristol.

You'll use your experience to bring together all design inputs to ensure that projects are delivered to design specification, mitigating risk and realising design opportunities.

Working on future projects you'll take an active role in support of the bid team to ensure design proposals are included in all documentation and support winning bids and planning applications. You'll also be responsible for the assessment and appointment of external consultants to support delivery of future projects.

You'll be Degree qualified in a construction related discipline or equivalent experience, hold a CSCS card and be working towards or have already attained chartered membership of a relevant professional institute.
