Job description


A new opportunity has become available for an Administrator based in York working within an office of 40 persons to provide business support to an organization that provides a range of technology based projects to the rail industry. This role spans the support for delivery of these projects.

Essential criteria

  • Source and book travel and hotels as required
  • Raising purchase orders
  • Responsible for incoming/outgoing post and deliveries
  • Answering the telephone
  • Welcoming visitors
  • Arranging meetings and ordering refreshments
  • Undertaking of timekeeper role in Kronos
  • Order stationery
  • Liaise with building contractors


  • Junior role, 6 months - 12 months experience only
  • Pay rate: £9.00 per hour
  • Location: York
  • Preferred Start Date: ASAP
