PLC Programmer and commission engineer (S7 and WinCC Classic experience)
Our client specialises in designing and manufacturing bespoke control panels and require a PLC programmer and commissioner to assist in the design, test and programming of a project near to Derby for the an ongoing project which will require you to go to the Falklands for 3 weeks for the end commissioning stage of the project.
PLC programming experience, specifically Siemens S7 and Win CC classic
PLC and SCADA experience
will need to have a specific Siemens equipment exposure and experience.
be required to go to Falkland Islands for up to 3 weeks
Benefits and hours
The rate would be commensurate with experience.
While working on the project in Derby you will be assisting the team fullfilling 40 hours weeks.
WHEN the project goes to site, potentially, we would want the PLC/SCADA engineer to spend time on site.
Whilst on site, he/she would be expected to be able/willing to do a 6 day week, 10 hrs/day with the 7th day as rest.
This would be in up to 3 week batches.
For this we would pay all 60 hrs at standard rate with a daily inconvenience fee of £50/day plus subsistence allowance of £25/day.- these two for 7 day/s week whilst on the Island.
Accommodation and flights would be paid by the client.
Transport to/from UK airport ( currently RAF Brize Norton) plus car parking there would be covered at cost + 10%.
