Urgently looking for a Temporary Accounts Assistant to start a contract role ASAP in Portsmouth. You will be responsible for assisting the company in ensuring all payment of invoices is completed within timescales.
You will Produce regular reporting of outstanding invoices, provide payment statistics in relation to the Prompt Payment Code and provide support to their contracts teams in resolving unmatched invoices. This will involve working with operations, Accounts Payable Shared Service Centre, procurement, and suppliers
You must have working experience as an Accounts Payable Assistant where you have reported into the Finance Manager / Financial Director. You must have clear experience carrying out Accounts Payable duties.
It would be an advantage to have experience of Navision and Tranman but this is nor essential.
- Good MS Excel skills
- Good MS Word & MS PowerPoint skills.
- Experience working with internal stakeholders/teams and suppliers
You must be willing to travel on occasion to their office in London.
