Job description

Job Title:  Quality Assurance Technician
Location:  Lincoln
Duration:  Permanent
Salary:  £19,541 p/a
Hours:  37 hours, day shifts

Key Duties & Responsibilities:
Inspection of product to required specifications.
Compile quality reports by collecting, analysing and summarising information and trends.
Review and compile First Article reports.
Conduct internal product and process audits.
Investigate non-conformance root cause and corrective action.
Quarantine store control.
Drive continuous improvement activities.
Other duties as deemed relevant in the fulfilment of the position.
May be called upon to work within other areas of the quality department.

Experience Required:
Capable of reading drawings and knowledge of geometric symbols.
Capable of using various inspection equipment.
Experience with AS9100/ISO9001 beneficial.
Experience of MSA, SPC, auditing and NADCAP beneficial.
Good verbal and written communication skills
Computer literate, understanding of Word and Excel software packages. 
To be able to work as part of a small team.
Able to work under own initiative.
A good structured approach to problem solving.
Be available for overtime when necessary.

Probation Period:
All employees in new jobs are required to undergo a six month probationary period, during which suitability for the position is assessed.

The company requires individuals to identify and analyse their own training and development needs and to actively participate in the design of a development plan to meet these needs and the needs of the Company.  This should be achieved through the appraisal process.
