A key part of what we do
Social Value is a key part of the culture at Fusion People. As a business, we focus on the well-being of our people, local communities, and the environment around us, addressing societal needs and how we as a business can continuously add value to our stakeholders through our operational activities.
Our strategy stems around the key aspects of Social Value; Wellbeing, Inclusivity, Diversity, Economic Development and Environmental Sustainability.
Through our Social Value reporting we can establish what our strengths are and understand the areas where we are able to improve.
We strive to achieve improvements in our offering, through the growth and development of our people, fair reward, physical and mental wellbeing support, worker opportunities, sustainable operations, charitable and community engagement, sharing of expertise, diverse recruitment, and improvement of opportunities for under-privileged and under-represented groups.
By prioritising our Social Value offering we can be confident that through our sustainable practices, we are contributing positively to all of those around us.
How we make a difference
Employee Wellbeing
We look after our employee’s mental health and support them to the best of our abilities. We invest in training our managers and senior staff to ensure they are fully equipped with skills to be able to help their staff with mental health problems. We have also recently launched a Wellbeing platform to our employees and contractors, providing them with access to a range of physical, mental, and financial support and advice.
Armed Forces Silver Award
As a signatory to the Armed Forces Covenant, Fusion People have received the Ministry of Defence Employer Recognition Scheme Silver Award. The covenant ensures that those who serve or who have served in the Armed Forces, and their families, are treated fairly.
Mental Health First Aid
We look after our employee’s mental health and support them to the best of our abilities. We invest in training our managers and senior staff to ensure they are fully equipped with skills to be able to help their staff with mental health problems. We currently have 10 qualified Mental Health First Aiders in the Company to offer support to our employees
Local Charitable Causes
Our branch teams select local charitable causes annually to support and fundraise for. They regularly take part in office-based events as well as sponsored activities to help support these local causes. Fusion People also contribute and match donations to support the efforts of our team.
We currently support Scotty’s Little Soldiers as our chosen charity. Scotty’s Little Soldiers is a charity dedicated to supporting bereaved military children and young people which further supports our dedicated link to the Armed Forces.
